Assistant Vice President - Human Resource - Retail

About Our Client:

Our client is a rapidly growing consumer business with a strong physical retail presence and an expanding omnichannel footprint. As the organization continues to scale its retail network, it is looking to appoint a senior HR leader to own the people agenda across its geographically distributed store workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end people charter across the national retail network

- Drive recruitment, onboarding and scalable talent pipelines for store teams

- Lead performance management, career progression and talent initiatives

- Drive attrition, retention and grievance management across stores

- Build L&D programs to strengthen frontline capability and customer experience

- Partner closely with business and central HR leadership on people strategy and governance

Ideal Candidate:

- 8 - 12 years of HR experience with MBA

- Strong exposure to retail or D2C workforce

- Strong experience across recruitment, performance, ER/grievance management and L&D

- Proven ability to manage and influence large, geographically distributed teams

- High-energy, business-oriented HR leader with strong stakeholder management and field presence.
