About the Role:
We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Assistant Vice President to lead our growth initiatives in the rapidly evolving digital payments landscape.
This senior leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on significant business opportunities, building high-impact partnerships, and driving substantial revenue growth.
You will be a key driver of our expansion, influencing market direction and fostering deep relationships with industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Market Intelligence: Lead comprehensive market intelligence initiatives, identifying key industry trends, competitive landscapes, and high-potential growth areas to inform and refine business strategies.
- High-Value Lead Generation & Conversion: Strategically identify, pursue, and convert high-value leads and complex referrals into significant business opportunities.
- Strategic Sales & Growth Initiatives: Develop, implement, and lead robust sales strategies to consistently achieve and exceed ambitious monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- New Business & Strategic Partnership Development: Proactively identify, evaluate, and forge new, complex business opportunities and high-impact strategic partnerships, demonstrating exceptional foresight and a strong "hunter" drive.
- End-to-End Sales Operations Management: Oversee and optimize end-to-end sales operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, 100% order fulfillment, and strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Executive Performance Analysis & Pitches: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales performance data, develop compelling business cases, and deliver impactful strategic pitches to senior executives and key stakeholders.
- Key Account Leadership: Lead the strategic growth and expansion of major key accounts, identifying and executing on significant revenue maximization strategies through deep client engagement.
- Strategic Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term strategic relationships with top-tier clients and partners, positioning the company as a preferred and trusted solution provider.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive collaborative initiatives with Marketing, Product Development, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure strategic alignment and seamless execution of business objectives.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of business development professionals, fostering their growth and ensuring the collective achievement of ambitious targets.
Preferred Expertise & Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic alliances within the digital payment space.
- Senior Leadership Background: Must have held senior leadership positions (e.g., Sr. Manager, AVP) in tier-1 payment companies/banks such as Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, Billdesk, HDFC, ICICI, Paytm, or similar.
Deep Payments Domain Expertise:
- In-depth understanding and practical experience with the Payments & Settlement Systems Act (RBI regulations).
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nodal & Escrow accounts.
- Expertise in MCC (Merchant Category Code), PCI-DSS Compliance, and SSL protocols.
Advanced Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication abilities, capable of engaging and presenting to executive-level audiences.
- Proven ability to drive complex projects and initiatives independently and effectively.
Education: Any Non-Technical Bachelor's degree.
- All-Rounder Profile: Demonstrated exposure to extracurricular activities and a well-rounded profile, indicating strong leadership and diverse capabilities
