Assistant Vice President/Financial Business Analyst - BFSI

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Financial Business Analyst who will play a critical role in managing and overseeing all business and financial activities of the insurance vertical. This role will work closely with the CEO and be responsible for driving business performance, financial planning, process improvements, and strategic decision support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Business & Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, business performance, and key metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

- Strategic Planning & Execution: Support the CEO in planning business strategies, budgeting, forecasting, and overall vertical growth.

- Operational Oversight: Handle all activities of the vertical including process management, reporting, and coordination across departments.

- MIS & Reporting: Prepare and present detailed MIS reports, dashboards, and performance summaries directly to the CEO.

- Cost & Profitability Management: Monitor costs, optimize expenses, and ensure profitability across the vertical.

- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with internal teams such as operations, finance, underwriting, and HR to ensure smooth functioning.

- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in existing processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)

- 4-10 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in Insurance or BFSI sector

- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and business analytics

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working with senior leadership

- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
