Job Description Summary

The Business Finance Head provides support to the Business Head on all matters pertaining to Finance & Accounting. As a key business partner in each region, the mandate is to drive performance and growth while managing risk in the region.

Primary Job responsibilities

- Own the business partnering relationship in the region to partner with all the functions to achieve the desired goals.

- Provide insight to the standard management report and build ad hoc reports for better business analytics.

- Analyze and report performance to the Asset Owners along with variance analysis and key metrics.

- Provide support on commercial & pricing decisions, negotiations & decision making activities in the region.

- Lead planning in the region along with finalization of Opex, Capex & Investment/Divestment budgets and forecast in the planning modules.

- Identify risks associated with the business, report & work on corrective actions.

- Ensure cash planning for each entity to maintain adequate liquidity and cash management.

- Assisting the Business Head on all Performance Improvement Plans and developing/reporting on key metrics for execution and results

- Assist the Business Head in the understanding of the finance & accounting requirements including the applicable accounting standards.

- Support the Business Head on all Financial matters pertaining to asset acquisition & divestment.

- Review the financial model to ensure that the right assumptions are taken for Tax, Funding Costs & other Finance related fees. Provide on-the-ground support for the controllership team on matters requiring assistance.

- Provide support on Funding Documentation & projections to be shared with the providers of credit.

- Work on strategies for Tax Optimization along with the Corporate Finance team to ensure best structure.

- Partner with the Country Finance.

- Head to provide business analytics.

- Manage local relationship with Banks / Lenders / Auditors / Tax Authorities / Consultants
