Assistant Vice President - Finance & Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Governance:

- Lead multi-entity accounting across marketplace, SaaS, JV, and compliance-driven business lines.

- Oversee AP/AR, reconciliations, treasury operations, fund-flow governance, and revenue recognition.

- Maintain audit-ready books for statutory auditors, ministries, OEMs, and carbon auditors.

- Design and strengthen internal controls suited for regulated digital and data-driven ecosystems.

Financial Planning, Control & Analysis (FP&A):

- Develop annual operating plans, rolling forecasts, and product-wise P&Ls.

- Drive pricing strategy, margin optimisation, and financial modelling for platform and SaaS offerings.

- Manage capital allocation, working capital, cash-flow forecasting, and treasury optimisation.

- Provide executive insights on scalability, business-model evolution, and investment prioritisation.

- Track and optimise KPIs including ARPU, CAC payback, churn, marketplace liquidity, CD trade flows, and carbon-credit issuance.

Compliance & Regulatory Management:

- Ensure compliance with IND-AS / GAAP / IFRS and India-specific statutory frameworks.

- Oversee GST, TDS/TCS, interstate taxation, SaaS billing compliance, and carbon-credit taxation.

- Lead statutory, internal, and regulatory audits.

- Maintain governance documentation across all key projects and platforms.

MIS, Reporting & Digital Finance Systems:

- Build integrated MIS across marketplace, SaaS, and carbon-credit financial streams.

- Deliver dashboards and financial insights for leadership, regulators, OEMs, and ecosystem partners.

- Drive ERP, BI, and automation initiatives to ensure data accuracy and scalability.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory; CPA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
