Role Overview:
The Assistant Vice President Finance will lead financial planning, reporting, and control functions to support business growth and regulatory compliance. The role involves driving financial strategy, ensuring accurate reporting, optimizing resource allocation, and collaborating with business leaders to enhance financial performance and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure timely preparation and finalization of financial statements as per statutory and regulatory standards.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and variance reports to support decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance metrics, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead cost optimization and resource utilization initiatives to improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with RBI/NHB regulations, tax laws, and internal audit standards.
- Coordinate with auditors, regulatory authorities, and external consultants during audits and reviews.
- Provide strategic inputs for funding, capital structuring, and treasury operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business, operations, and risk teams to align financial strategies with corporate objectives.
- Lead and mentor finance teams to ensure timely deliverables and performance excellence.
Skillsets & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in financial planning, accounting standards, and reporting frameworks.
- Deep understanding of NBFC/Housing Finance regulations and compliance norms.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, MIS reporting, and variance analysis.
- Sound knowledge of taxation, treasury, and capital management.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on business growth and financial governance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial tools (SAP/Oracle/Tally ERP).
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce; CA/MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA will be an added advantage.
