Assistant Vice President - Export Sales/Business Development - Geosynthetic Business

Hiring for AVP Export Business Development(Geosynthetic Business) for a client in technical textile fibre.

Position: Pune

Role Objective :

To lead and manage the international sales function for the Geosynthetics business, driving revenue growth, enhancing market penetration, and strengthening the companys presence across global geographies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement export sales strategies for niche geosynthetic products across diverse international markets and segments.

- Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with distribution partners, contractors, and consulting firms worldwide.

- Achieve export sales targets and contribution goals in line with organizational objectives.

- Represent the company at seminars, technical presentations, and international conferences to engage with consultants and clients.

- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with international clients.

- Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Address client and stakeholder queries, providing technical support in coordination with the engineering team.

- Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation, and statutory requirements.

- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the export sales team to achieve business objectives.

- Monitor team performance and provide training for skill enhancement.

- Analyse global market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to inform business decisions.

- Provide inputs for new product development and innovation based on market requirements.
