Job Summary :

The Offshore Delivery Leader will oversee the operations of the offshore delivery center in Hyderabad, driving excellence in team performance, business growth, and innovation. This leader will play a critical role in building high-performing product teams for complex trading platforms, nurturing next-generation talent, ensuring the overall success and profitability of the delivery center, and strengthening client relationships.

Years of experience needed - 15+

Key Responsibilities :

1. Oversee Operations: Lead and manage the overall operations of the offshore delivery center in Hyderabad, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

2. Team Building: Build and mentor high-performing product teams focused on delivering complex trading platforms, ensuring top-tier execution and delivery.

3. Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their roadmaps and develop and execute strategies to meet these objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals.

4. Talent Acquisition & Development: Develop the next generation of talent by strategically recruiting from Tier 1 engineering colleges, fostering a pipeline of top engineering talent.

5. Strategic Planning: Define and execute both short-term and long-term strategies to drive business growth and align with organizational goals.

6. Profitability Improvement: Create and implement strategies to enhance the profitability of the offshore delivery center, ensuring sustainable financial success.

7. Delivery Governance: Develop a robust delivery governance process and lead its adoption across the center to maintain high standards of delivery excellence.

8. Employee Experience & Retention: Continuously refine and improve the employee experience, aiming to increase employee satisfaction and retention rates.

9. Financial Performance Collaboration: Work closely with various support groups to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the financial performance of all engagements.

10. Leadership Development: Identify and cultivate leadership talent within the team, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.

11. Innovation Labs: Establish and maintain innovation labs to incubate business ideas, conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs), and experiment with new technologies.

12. Brand Image Enhancement: Organize team events and initiatives to enhance the company's brand image, both internally and externally.

Candidate requirements :

- Technology Background: Strong technical expertise in Java or .NET, with a deep understanding of software development and engineering principles.

- Experience: A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in leading high-performance engineering teams, with a track record of successful delivery in complex environments.

- Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), NoSQL databases, or RDBMS is a plus.

- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
