About the Role :

We are seeking a highly disciplined and execution-focused Delivery Manager with a defense background and at least 10 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational rigor, leadership, structured thinking, and an unwavering commitment to quality - traits commonly developed in defense services - while also being able to thrive in a fast-moving product environment.

This role requires someone who can manage cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery of product releases, coordinate with stakeholders, and uphold processes that enhance reliability, predictability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

Delivery & Execution :

- Drive end-to-end delivery of product features, enhancements, and releases across multiple teams

- Manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps with high precision

- Ensure product deliverable meet scope, quality standards, and timelines

- Implement best practices in project management, documentation, and process adherence

Cross-Functional Coordination :

- Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, design, and business stakeholders to streamline execution

- Facilitate communication between teams, ensuring alignment and transparency.

- Act as the escalation point for delivery challenges and work proactively to resolve issues

Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead with discipline, accountability, and clarity inspired by defence leadership values

- Motivate, guide, and develop teams to maintain high performance under pressure

- Instill operational excellence and structured workflows across delivery functions

Process & Quality Improvement :

- Define and optimize delivery processes, tools, and governance models

- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and high standards

- Monitor KPIs/metrics to ensure consistency and predictability of releases

Requirements :

- 10+ years of professional experience, ideally with exposure to delivery, operations, or project/program management roles

- Defense background (armed forces or equivalent) with demonstrable leadership and operational discipline

- Strong understanding of product development cycles in a technology or product-based company

- Excellent skills in planning, risk management, execution tracking, and stakeholder communication

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis-management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments

- Exposure to software product delivery or technical project management

- Certification in PMP, Agile, or equivalent (optional but beneficial)

- Ability to leverage defense leadership experience to manage high-demand delivery situations
