Assistant Vice President - Data Governance - IT

- Develop and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

- Define and manage critical data elements (CDEs), data lineage, and metadata management.

- Lead data quality initiatives, including profiling, cleansing, and monitoring

- Support and extensive use/ implementation of data governance tools Informatica EDC, CDGC , IDQ

- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal policies.

- Conduct data risk assessments and support audits and regulatory reporting.

Required:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.

- 10+ years of experience in data management, with at least 3 years in a data governance leadership role.

- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).

- Hands-on experience with data governance tools and technologies.

- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures.
