Assistant Vice President - Credit Risk - US Corporate Portfolio - Banking

About the Role:

We are hiring an experienced Credit Risk Professional (Assistant Vice President) for a leading global banking organization supporting its US Corporate Banking business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and monitor a portfolio of US corporate clients across sectors such as Energy (Oil & Gas & Power), Diversified Industries, Financial Institutions (FIG), Technology, and Healthcare.

- Perform detailed credit analysis, risk assessment, and internal credit rating recommendations.

- Prepare comprehensive credit memorandums for new and existing credit exposures.

- Evaluate financial statements, cash flows, business risks, industry trends, and repayment capacity.

- Review loan structures, identify transaction risks, and recommend appropriate mitigants and covenant structures.

- Partner with business and product teams to support credit decisions while maintaining strong risk governance.

- Conduct portfolio reviews, due diligence, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Desired Profile:

- 7-12 years of experience in Corporate Credit Risk, Credit Underwriting, Portfolio Management, or Credit Sanction within a bank or financial institution.

- Strong experience handling Large Corporate / Corporate Banking credit portfolios.

- Expertise in financial statement analysis, credit underwriting, risk assessment, and financial modelling.

- Good understanding of corporate finance, loan documentation, and transaction structuring.

- Exposure to US corporate banking or global credit portfolios will be an advantage.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
