Job Overview:

This job role will require the incumbent to manage strategic projects from ideation to execution, including business expansion, partnerships, risk optimization, collections excellence, and organizational value creation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Support / lead / program-manage Strategic projects - including but not restricted to existing business growth, new business incubation, inorganic growth, new business build and partnerships, risk management (credit policy, operational, fraud), risk analytics, collections and recoveries excellence, operational excellence.

- Program management of strategic projects.

- Support execution and delivery of strategic projects e.g. incubation of new business, new partnerships, risk management, recoveries excellence, etc.

- Drive CEO priorities - understand CEO priorities in CEO-LT reviews, develop/review minutes of the meeting, track closure with cross-functional senior teams / LT members.

- Develop presentations for Management Reviews; identify areas of focus / priority / value creation for the business / organization.

- Macro / industry / competition intelligence to identify opportunities for business growth / value creation. May include both primary and secondary market research and data analysis.

- Above responsibilities may include cross-functional interaction with Sales, Product, Risk Policy, Underwriting, Collections / Recoveries, Tech teams.

- Above responsibilities may include interactions with shareholder teams - direct, and seconded.

- Above responsibilities may also require engagements with external partners, including business partners, Strategy / Tech / Risk Management Consulting Partners, investment bankers, digital / tech service providers.

Experience Required (In Years):

Minimum - 8 years of Banking / NBFC experience, in Corporate Strategy.

Skills:

- Strong problem-solving skills: hypothesis based problem-solving, strong analytical skills, thinking-on the-feet, resourcefulness.

- Business judgment and practicality; data analysis (excel skills).

- Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication, articulate, concise, senior and confident presence.

- Relationship management.

- Able to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.

- Domain knowledge of lending value-chain is a strong plus (experience in lending industry) - across functions like Strategy, Product, Finance, Risk (Policy, Governance, Collections/Recoveries), Analytics, etc.

Qualification Required:

Masters in any field (Top Tier Colleges)
