Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and Result Driven AVP - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to lead and execute the Banks long-term social impact strategy.
This Middle Management role requires a strategic leader, preferably holding an MBA, with expertise in developing governance frameworks, managing complex stakeholder relationships, and leveraging data-driven insights to measure impact.
The AVP will be responsible for aligning the Banks mission with sustainable societal needs and scaling initiatives through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy Development
- Develop, champion, and implement comprehensive long-term CSR strategies rigorously aligned with the Banks core mission and values.
- Identify pressing societal needs and design programs that foster measurable and sustainable social impact.
- Utilize effective Delegation skills to manage project execution and empower the team for successful outcome delivery.
Governance and Compliance
- Establish and maintain transparent governance frameworks, policies, and procedures for all CSR initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory norms and adherence to global best practices in corporate social responsibility and reporting.
Impact Measurement & Evaluation
- Design and execute robust monitoring frameworks to accurately measure, evaluate, and communicate the effectiveness of all CSR initiatives.
- Drive the use of data-driven insights to assess program efficacy, adjust strategies, and optimize resource allocation.
Partnership and Stakeholder Management
- Build, nurture, and maintain high-impact partnerships with a diverse range of entities, including governments, NGOs, corporates, academia, and social enterprises.
- Lead Stakeholder Management efforts to leverage shared resources and expertise to significantly scale impact.
- Oversee communication strategies, including managing Social Media Content related to CSR programs.
Advocacy and Thought Leadership
- Represent the Bank at external forums, conferences, and industry platforms to advance the Bank's position in social impact.
- Author articles and engage in thought leadership platforms to influence innovation within the social sector.
Qualifications
Experience: Relevant experience in developing and managing large-scale CSR, Sustainability, or Social Impact programs (implied 8+ years for AVP/Middle Management).
Education: Mandatory MBA (Master of Business Administration).
Core Expertise: Mandatory expertise in CSR strategy, Stakeholder Management, and program governance.
Key Skills: Proven ability to manage partnerships, including working with NGO Account management, and generating impact reports.
Attributes: Mandatory Result Driven focus, strong strategic thinking, and effective Team Coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector related to sustainability reporting (e.g., ESG frameworks).
- Certification in CSR or Sustainability Management.
- Direct experience generating and curating high-quality Social Media Content for CSR reporting
