About the Role

The AVP Corporate Communications will play a key role in supporting the Corporate Communications Lead in implementing internal and external communication strategies that strengthen the organizations brand identity, employee engagement, and overall communication effectiveness. The role involves managing internal communication initiatives, digital channels, events, and social media engagement to ensure consistent and impactful messaging across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Internal Communication

- Draft, edit, and publish internal communications, including emails, newsletters, and announcements.

- Support employee engagement initiatives, leadership messages, and intranet content updates.

- Coordinate logistics and creative elements for internal events such as townhalls, leadership connects, and awareness campaigns.

B) Events & Media

- Provide planning and execution support for corporate events, CSR activities, and celebrations.

- Manage and maintain archives of communication materials, photos, videos, and creative assets.

C) Digital & Social Media

- Support the management of corporate social media handles (LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) by creating and scheduling posts.

- Track engagement metrics and prepare periodic reports on performance and reach.

- Collaborate with internal teams for approvals and alignment of digital content with brand tone and objectives.

D) Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain a calendar of communication activities and share regular progress updates.

- Prepare and present analytics reports on internal campaigns and digital engagement.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

- 68 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or marketing roles (preferably within a corporate or financial services setup).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint); experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools is an advantage.

- Strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube).

- Good organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.

- Creative thinker with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Interest in corporate storytelling, culture building, and visual branding.
