ROLE OVERVIEW:

A leading Family Office is seeking a high-calibre professional for Sr. Manager / AVP - Corporate Affairs.

The incumbent will work closely with the Principals and senior stakeholders, with responsibilities spanning business analysis, investments, portfolio management, investment research and philanthropy.

This is a high-ownership role requiring strong analytical, financial, research and stakeholder-management capabilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Analysis & Investments:

- Analyse existing investee companies and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability.

- Engage with senior management of investee companies to understand business plans, challenges and growth priorities.

- Develop financial models, business analysis and actionable recommendations.

- Support the investment lifecycle from opportunity identification and evaluation through investment, monitoring and monetisation.

- Identify and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities.

- Build relationships with investor groups and relevant industry networks.

Portfolio Management & Investment Research:

- Research and evaluate investment opportunities, particularly in the listed space.

- Monitor existing portfolios, investment performance, returns and risk/reward.

- Support investment planning and decision-making.

- Coordinate with Wealth Management Companies, internal managers and external advisors.

- Track developments across Equity, Debt, AIFs and other financial products and provide relevant insights to the Principals.

Philanthropy:

- Research and evaluate potential charitable, educational, social and cultural organisations.

- Support grant-making, due diligence and periodic impact reviews.

- Track the impact of philanthropic initiatives and support relevant family initiatives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

- 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in Family Office, Investment Banking, Wealth Management, PMS, Business Analysis, Investment Research, Strategy, PE/VC or related fields.

- MBA, preferably Finance, from a reputed management institute; relevant professional qualifications may also be considered.

- Strong financial modelling, analytical and research skills.

- Knowledge of Equity, Debt and AIF products.

- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

- Ability to independently conduct research, analyse complex information and present actionable recommendations.

- Strong stakeholder-management skills and comfort interacting with senior management, promoters, investors and advisors.

- High degree of ownership, discretion, integrity and attention to detail.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience in a Family Office, Wealth Management, Investment Banking or PMS environment will be an advantage, particularly with exposure to investment research, portfolio monitoring and business analysis.
