Role Overview

The AVP - Corporate Advisory is a senior leadership role requiring 8+ years of experience to head and execute specialized advisory services, including Techno-Economic Viability (TEV) and Lenders' Independent Engineer (LIE) studies.

Based in Hyderabad / Kolkata, this role is critical for project appraisal, feasibility assessment, and supporting complex financial transactions for banks, financial institutions, and investors.

The incumbent must possess a robust combination of technical, financial modeling, and relationship management skills to drive assignments from inception to deal closure.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Advisory professional to lead our TEV/LIE division.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in project appraisal, financial modeling, and preparing comprehensive lender/investor documents.

This high-impact role requires strong analytical skills, domain knowledge in lending policies, and established relationships with Banks, FIs, and NBFCs to ensure the successful and timely closure of complex financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

- Assignment Leadership: Lead TEV/LIE assignments end-to-end, including comprehensive Project Appraisal and Feasibility Studies covering Technical, Financial, and Commercial viability.

- Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive TEV Reports incorporating detailed financial analysis, scenario testing, and key financial ratios such as DSCR (Debt Service Coverage Ratio), IRR (Internal Rate of Return), and Breakeven analysis.

- Financial Modelling: Build and review complex financial models from scratch, meticulously documenting all underlying assumptions, sensitivity analysis, and projections to ensure accuracy and robustness for lending decisions.

- Due Diligence Documentation: Prepare and review Information Memorandums (IMs), Credit Appraisal Notes (CANs), and all other necessary lender/investor documents required for project financing and evaluation.

- Industry & Market Research: Conduct thorough industry research to provide insightful analysis and market validation for project viability and commercial assumptions.

- Transaction Management: Liaison with Banks, Financial Institutions (FIs), and Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs) for project evaluation, due diligence coordination, and active participation in discussions to facilitate deal closure.

- Project Management: Ensure the timely and successful completion of all assignments, managing team resources and deliverables effectively.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- Education: CA / Engineer / MBA from a reputed institute.

- Experience: 8+ years of dedicated experience in TEV/LIE services and broader corporate advisory/project finance.

- Relationships: Strong relationships with Banks, FIs, and NBFCs established across the Indian financial landscape.

- Credit Expertise: Excellent understanding of credit appraisal, lending policies, restructuring & stressed asset resolution processes.

- Core Skills: Strong communication, financial modelling, and documentation skills.

- Proficiency in presenting complex financial data clearly to senior stakeholders.
