Assistant Vice President - Compliance Officer - Bank

Job Description

- Handling Compliance aspects related to GIFT City branch

- Analyzing impact of Acts/Rules/Regulations/Guidelines/Circulars and appraising the Senior Management about the Compliance Risks emanating from the regulations.

- Supervising dissemination of actionables emanating from new regulations and ensuring implementation by the respective Business units of the Bank.

- Partnering with Business Departments on various aspects of Regulations applicable to their Business and providing them solutions on matters referred by them in new and existing products and processes.

- Approval of any new/review of existing Policy/ Internal circulars/processes after ensuring all regulatory/internal guidelines have been complied.

- Review of major business proposals, credit proposals etc and providing inputs from regulatory compliance perspective.

- Compliance testing as per compliance monitoring plan, submission of the report to HO and tracking closure of observations.

- Meeting and communicating with the regulators for clarification on regulations and approvals for products/services.

- Submission of speaking points/Action taken report etc. for various committees like Audit Committee of Board /MD Dashboard etc.

- Handling of Compliance related queries and approvals.

- Providing relevant inputs for preparation of presentations /Dashboards

- Monitoring and tracking of closure of regulatory observations emanating from IAD, Compliance Testing and Regulatory Inspection reports

- Approval and testing of new/change product and process notes in line with relevant applicable regulations /internal policies and giving sign off to PMC/CMC notes

Competencies Required:

- Understanding of IFSCA and RBI regulations and guidelines

- Good Interpersonal and communication skills

- Excellent spoken & written (Drafting) English skills

- Proficiency & command in Excel, Word & PPT etc.
