
Position:
Assistant Vice President - Compliance Monitoring
Role Summary:
The Assistant Vice President - Compliance Monitoring will design and run the framework that tests, reviews, and ensures the NBFC's business operations strictly adhere to RBI regulations for the Middle Layer (NBFC-ML). This role focuses on catching process gaps before they turn into regulatory failures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring & Testing: Design and execute the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan. Conduct regular sample testing and thematic reviews across Credit, Operations, Tech, and Collections.
- RBI Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to RBI guidelines, including the Fair Practices Code (FPC), KYC/AML norms, Digital Lending Guidelines (DLG), and Outsourcing policies.
- Risk Remediation: Identify process gaps, issue Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to business heads, and track them until fully resolved.
- Reporting: Maintain tracking dashboards and provide regular compliance health reports to the CCO and Senior Management.
- Partnership Audits: Audit and monitor compliance for third-party vendors, FinTech partners, and co-lending alliances.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: 7 - 10 years in NBFC Compliance or Internal Audit.
- Education: CA, or MBA (Finance).
- Core Skills: Strong understanding of RBI's Scale-Based Regulations (SBR), excellent auditing skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional business heads.
