Description:

Functional Area: End to End Project Development with Techno commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading and managing large-scale Commercial projects in the real estate sector, from feasibility, design, construction and completion

- Experience in liasioning with JD partners and Government officials.

- Developing and implementing projects strategies, plans and large-scale budgets on complex construction projects. Establishing and maintaining effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project

- Capex management of all the projects. Forecasting the spend, reporting actual vs. planned, benchmarking compared to business plan, etc

- Monitoring and reporting on Planning, MEP, costing and all aspects of construction.

- Define the Organizations commercial strategy for the projects in line with the business strategy

- Lead the team in the design, build, commissioning & delivery of residential projects, critical infrastructure & network capacity

- Direct interface with construction general contractors during the construction bidding, award, execution, punch-list, and closeout phases.

- Ensure timely, accurate and Consistent technical Infrastructure service and presentation to internal and External clients

- Responsible for developing and leading updates to the design standards and specifications for consistency, maximum system reliability and optimal facility utilization.

- Develop capital project budgets and sophisticated business case analyses.

- Develop / update Department SOPs; Lead the development of a framework for the development of large-scale and complex commercial and Residential Projects

- Drive the tendering and contracting process in close consultation with vertical head.

- Work closely with external consultants and the Development Management Team to drive value engineering initiatives and determine the scope of work

- Responsible for the technical and commercial evaluation of contractors on parameters such as past performances scheduled time, cost, accommodativeness etc.

- Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers to implement those decisions

- Providing thought leadership Monitoring build progress, overseeing finance and ensuring project quality

- Liaising with clients, stakeholders and project managers to build strong working relationship and report on project progress

- Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage

- Ensuring permits and legal papers are secured ahead of the project
