Assistant Vice President - Center Head - Shopping Mall

Role Overview:

We are looking for a senior Hotel Operations professional to lead the overall operations, financial performance, safety and stakeholder management of a large, high-footfall commercial asset.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience managing large luxury hotels/resorts, with the ability to transfer their expertise in property operations, P&L, guest experience, safety, facilities, F&B and large-team management to a large-scale commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead overall property operations, P&L, profitability and cost management.

- Manage large-scale engineering, MEP, security, housekeeping, parking and facility operations.

- Ensure strong fire, life-safety, statutory and emergency-management standards.

- Manage F&B operations, hygiene, food safety and high-volume service environments.

- Handle relationships with multiple tenants, brands, vendors and external stakeholders.

- Drive operational efficiency, cost optimisation and CAPEX initiatives.

- Lead large internal and outsourced teams across multiple functions.

- Manage high-footfall events, crowd movement and operational contingencies.

- Work closely with marketing and commercial teams on events, activations and revenue generation.

- Act as the senior escalation point during operational or safety-related crises.

Candidate Profile:

- Candidates should have held senior roles such as General Manager, Hotel Manager, Resident Manager, Director Operations, Cluster/Area Operations Head or equivalent.

- Strong experience managing large hotels, high-volume operations and large teams.

- Strong understanding of P&L, F&B, engineering/MEP, housekeeping, security, safety and guest experience.

- Experience dealing with vendors, government authorities, emergency situations and multiple stakeholders.

-Strong leadership, commercial acumen, problem-solving and crisis-management skills.

- Candidates without significant Hotel/Hospitality Operations experience will not be considered.

- Preferred Background: Candidates from leading luxury hospitality groups such as Oberoi, Taj/IHCL, ITC Hotels, The Leela, Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, Shangri-La and other reputed 5-star/luxury hotel groups.
