Job Purpose:
- We are seeking a results-driven and experienced AVP - Business Development to spearhead the growth of our Collections and Verification Services vertical.
- This leadership role will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and nurturing client relationships across BFSI, fintech, telecom, and other sectors requiring large-scale collections or verification solutions. The AVP will develop and execute strategic business development initiatives to expand market share, grow revenues, and deliver value-added solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for collections and verification services.
- Build a strong sales pipeline by identifying potential clients in banking, NBFCs, fintech, telecom, insurance, and related domains.
- Develop customized solutions in line with client needs across field collections (soft & hard bucket), skip tracing, field verifications (address, KYC, employment), and fraud control.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify decision-makers, initiate high-impact conversations, and close large-scale deals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with CXOs, Heads of Collections, Risk, and Operations.
- Serve as the single point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and account growth.
Revenue & Target Achievement:
- Own revenue, profitability, and growth targets for the vertical.
- Monitor and track performance against business goals, and take proactive steps to address shortfalls.
- Work with pricing and operations teams to structure winning proposals and cost models.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Compliance, Legal, and HR to ensure smooth onboarding and execution of client mandates.
- Provide critical client insights to the operations team for better service delivery and SLAs adherence.
- Partner with the marketing team for brand positioning and lead generation campaigns.
Market Intelligence & Industry Engagement:
- Stay updated with market trends, regulatory updates, and competitor offerings in the collections and verification space.
- Represent the company at industry forums, client meetings, and networking events.
- Identify opportunities for new product offerings, partnerships, and geographical expansion.
