Role Overview:
The AVP Brand Marketing-Luxury Beauty will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand growth and market share for a key luxury beauty brand within the Indian market. This role involves leading a team of marketing professionals, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including sales, trade marketing, and supply chain, and working with external agencies to deliver impactful campaigns and initiatives. The AVP will play a crucial role in shaping the brand's image, enhancing customer engagement, and achieving ambitious business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement annual brand marketing plans, aligning with overall business objectives and brand guidelines, to maximize brand awareness and sales growth in the Indian market.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and in-store activations, to reach target consumers and drive brand engagement.
- Manage the brand's marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across different initiatives and channels, to maximize ROI.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify key trends, consumer insights, and opportunities for brand growth, to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Collaborate with the sales and trade marketing teams to develop and execute impactful trade marketing programs, including promotions, events, and visual merchandising, to drive sales in retail channels.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, using data and analytics to optimize strategies and improve effectiveness, to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, influencers, and agencies, to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities, to foster a high-performance culture.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in brand management and marketing strategy development within the luxury beauty or related industry.
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Deep understanding of the Indian consumer market and luxury retail landscape.
- Experience in managing marketing budgets and optimizing ROI.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- 7-12 years of relevant experience in Brand Management, Luxury Brand Marketing, Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Trade Marketing.
