Assistant Vice President - Banker

Roles and Responsibilities:

Role Overview:

- Acting as a German-speaking Banker based in India, focused on managing and expanding relationships with German multinational corporations (MNCs) operating in or entering the Indian market.

- Part of the RTM Coverage team, responsible for multi-product, relationship management, ensuring mutual benefit for both DB and the client.

Core Responsibilities:

- Client interaction in German, requiring fluency and experience in handling German-speaking clients.

- Selling the "India story" to German corporates and supporting Indian relationship teams by helping clients understand the local market and opportunities.

- Generating interest in offerings among German MNCs; post-initial engagement, handing over to concerned internal stakeholders to take it forward.

- Acting as a bridge between MNCs and Indian stakeholders, assisting in:

- Identifying and translating relationship issues

- Sharing context around challenges

- Providing language alignment between both parties.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Interaction with:

- German MNC clients abroad

- German stakeholders based in India

- Internal teams across product, risk, compliance, etc.
