About the Role:
The Assistant Sales Manager will support revenue growth by managing customer acquisition, account servicing, and sales execution for financial products.
This role offers strong learning opportunities with direct exposure to leadership and decision-making in the financial domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute full-cycle sales activities including prospecting, client outreach, pitching, and deal closures.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships across banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions.
- Track sales pipelines, monitor lead progress, and maintain accurate reports within CRM systems.
- Assist in forming strategic partnerships and managing existing accounts.
- Coordinate with marketing, product, and business teams to support go-to-market and campaign initiatives.
- Analyse customer needs and propose tailored financial solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4 - 8 years of experience in sales or business development within financial services.
- Strong experience in client onboarding, relationship handling, and channel engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Analytical mindset with working knowledge of CRM dashboards and sales reporting.
- Capability to take ownership of targets and operate independently.
Educational Background:
- Bachelors or Masters in Business, Marketing, or Commerce.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
