Position Overview:
- The Assistant Sales Manager will support sales growth initiatives for Aluminium Expansion Joints (AEJ) and related industrial products.
- The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and contributing to the company's expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in driving sales, revenue, and profitability targets in the assigned territory.
- Identify and develop new clients including Contractors, Architects, Structural Consultants, PMCs, Government Projects, Hospitals, Airports, and Institutional projects.
- Support project operations through effective planning, coordination, and execution.
- Participate in presales activities-promoting company products and specifications before tender/enquiry stages.
- Prepare and present techno-commercial quotations aligned with customer requirements.
- Ensure timely collection of payments as per company policies.
- Assist in launching new products and developing marketing strategies for target markets.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and client meetings to enhance business networking.
- Conduct market analysis and competitor mapping to support strategy formulation.
- Contribute to team development, motivation, and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications s Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
- Candidates with an MBA (Marketing/Sales) will be preferred.
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in Industrial Product, Project Sales, Capital Equipment, Machinery Tools, Material Handling Equipment, or Construction Equipment sales.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
- Strong customer orientation and proactive approach to business development.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to coordinate with internal teams effectively.
- Analytical and strategic thinking to identify growth opportunities.
