Role: Assistant Project Manager

Experience: 2-4 Years
Education: Postgraduate Diploma / Masters in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering (preferred)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of interior and construction projects across residential, hospitality, and workspace segments. The role requires close collaboration with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing projects from design finalization to execution and handover.
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure timely release and accuracy of drawings.
- Support project planning activities including timelines, work schedules, and execution plans.
- Monitor on-site progress and ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety norms.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.
- Assist in material planning, procurement coordination, and tracking of deliveries.
- Support cost control activities by tracking budgets, BOQs, and variations.
- Ensure compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, and client requirements.
- Participate in site meetings and prepare MOMs, progress reports, and status updates for internal and client stakeholders.
- Identify execution risks and escalate issues proactively to the Project Manager.
- Support project close-out activities including snag list management, final documentation, and handover.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out / construction execution processes.
- Experience working on residential, hospitality, or commercial/workspace projects.
- Working knowledge of drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and site coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across design, sales, procurement, and execution teams.
Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- MS Excel / MS Project (or equivalent project tracking tools)
- Basic understanding of 3D drawings and specifications
- Strong organizational, coordination, and documentation skills.
Education Qualification:
Postgraduate Diploma / Masters in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, or Civil Engineering (preferred)
