Position Summary :

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, conducting research, mentoring students, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in academic and institutional initiatives. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and student success.

Key Responsibilities :

Teaching & Learning :

- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the respective discipline.

- Develop course content, lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials.

- Employ innovative and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.

- Guide student projects, internships, dissertations, and research activities.

Research & Publications :

- Conduct high-quality research in the relevant field.

- Publish research papers in reputed peer-reviewed journals.

- Secure research grants, consultancy projects, and industry collaborations.

- Present research findings at national and international conferences.

Academic Administration :

- Participate in curriculum design and revision.

- Contribute to accreditation, quality assurance, and academic governance activities.

- Support student mentoring, admissions, outreach, and institutional development initiatives.

- Serve on departmental and university committees as required.

Industry & Community Engagement :

- Build collaborations with industry, government, and academic institutions.

- Facilitate internships, industry projects, and placement-related activities.

- Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, conferences, and outreach programs.

Eligibility Criteria :

Essential Qualifications :

- Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized university/institution is mandatory.

- Strong academic record with consistently good performance throughout education.

- Demonstrated teaching and research aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Publications in Scopus, ABDC, Web of Science, UGC-CARE, or equivalent indexed journals.

- Postdoctoral experience, funded research projects, patents, or consultancy work.

- Experience in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), accreditation processes, and digital learning platforms.

- Industry experience relevant to the discipline will be an added advantage.

Experience :

- Fresh Ph.D. graduates with strong academic credentials may apply.

- Candidates with 1-5 years of teaching, research, or industry experience will be preferred.

- Senior candidates with exceptional credentials may be considered for higher academic positions.
