With a strong focus on governance, compliance, and digital transformation, the organization is driving large-scale finance transformation programs to deliver efficiency, transparency, and operational excellence.
About the Role:
This role is part of the Accounts Payable Governance & Transformation team within the Global Business Services division. The position involves driving governance frameworks, implementing digital initiatives, and enhancing management reporting structures to ensure compliance, control, and process excellence.
You will be responsible for building and strengthening governance systems, supporting audit and compliance, leading operational excellence projects, and enabling digital adoption in finance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and implement governance systems across Accounts Payable processes.
- Review statutory auditor presentations, monitor transactional data, and design effective controls.
- Track and ensure timely closure of internal audit issues.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives including automation, RPA, and system enhancements.
- Prepare and deliver AP-related inputs for annual and long-term business plans.
- Lead operational excellence projects (Lean, Six Sigma, automation) with measurable business impact.
- Standardize reports, KPIs, and management reporting frameworks for better decision-making.
- Support process transitions and new business migrations within GBS (AP, AR, RTR).
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls (ICFR).
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and industry analysis for process improvements.
- Collaborate with technology and accounting teams to design customized solutions.
Must-Haves (Requirements):
- Chartered Accountant / MBA Finance / Equivalent professional qualification.
- 7-12 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Governance, Compliance, or Shared Services (GBS/SSC).
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, ICFR, risk management, and audit closure.
- Hands-on experience in process transformation, project management, automation, and reporting frameworks.
- Exposure to Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and operational excellence practices.
- Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across finance and technology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
