Assistant Manager - Treasury Accounting

A leading global MNC finance organization to hire an experienced Treasury Accounting Manager to lead and strengthen enterprise-level treasury operations, governance, and reporting.

This is a high-impact leadership role offering strategic exposure, global stakeholder interaction, and ownership across cash, liquidity, FX, controls, and treasury accounting.

Role Objective

Support day-to-day Treasury operations to ensure accurate cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, payment governance, FX management, and treasury accounting. Partner closely with Group Finance, Business Units, and Banks to safeguard cash, optimize liquidity, and maintain robust control compliance.

Qualification:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA - Finance preferred

Experience Required:

- 4-8 years in Corporate Treasury / Banking Operations / Finance

- Strong knowledge of IFRS 9, UK GAAP, Companies Act

- Hands-on exposure to SAP, Power Query, payment platforms

- Expertise in cash pooling, FX concepts, treasury controls

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Experience with FIS Treasury Management System (desirable)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Own Treasury SOPs & RACM for payments, bank accounts, cash pooling & FX

- Review weekly cash & liquidity positions, drive variance actions

- Lead and manage treasury team members

- Prepare and deliver Quarterly Treasury Reports to the CFO

- Review and improve cash forecasting models & accuracy metrics

- Optimize banking footprint, negotiate fees & manage bank scorecards

- Approve high-value/exception payments with strong control governance

- Oversee FX exposure, hedging, accounting & reconciliation

- Drive intercompany funding strategy and compliance monitoring

- Own month-end treasury close, reconciliations & audit preparedness

- Build team capability, perform quality reviews & coaching

- Own MI dashboards & finance packs for senior leadership

- Handle external reporting for half-year and annual accounts

- Liaise directly with external auditors on treasury matters
