Assistant Manager - Strategy

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Strategic Planning Facilitation: Collaborate closely with senior leadership and departmental heads to drive a structured and cohesive strategic planning process. Actively support the formulation of a robust long-term business plan aligned with the company's growth vision.

- Market and Technology Intelligence: Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging industry trends, disruptive technologies, and macroeconomic shifts. Translate insights into actionable inputs for the company's strategic roadmap.

- Competitive and Sectoral Analysis: Evaluate key players in the data centre ecosystem and adjacent sectors to benchmark performance, assess competitive positioning, and identify best practices and opportunities for differentiation.

- Analytical and Presentation Support: Provide high-quality analytical support for leadership discussions. Lead the preparation of strategic presentations, business reviews, and board-level materials to ensure clarity, alignment, and impact.

- Program Management of Key Initiatives: Oversee and coordinate cross-functional strategic initiatives, ensuring timely execution, milestone tracking, and alignment with organizational priorities.

- ESG initiatives: Drive organization-wide ESG initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams, manage ESG Audit, support in end-to-end ESG report development.

3. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

- MBA (Finance) from premier institute and/or qualified CA.

- 5-8 years of ICT centric experience in a Corporate Strategy department, consulting firm, research firm of repute.

- Previous experience in business analysis, valuation, merger & acquisition for corporate development is a must have

- Prior experience in the Data Centre space is an advantage

Skills-

- Proficient in PowerPoint & excel

- Familiarity and experience with strategic assessment frameworks

- Technical proficiency in advanced Financial Analysis and Modeling

- Expertise in converting excels and research into insights and making impactful PowerPoint presentations

- Understanding of the ICT ecosystem and preferably Data Centre colocation business.

- Excellent analytical thinking ability.
