Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex statutory audit engagements for a diverse client base to ensure strict compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks.
- Manage the end-to-end audit lifecycle, from planning and risk assessment to final reporting, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality audit opinions.
- Review financial statements and disclosures to verify accuracy and alignment with IFRS and GAAP, providing assurance to stakeholders and investors.
- Mentor and supervise audit teams during field engagements to foster professional growth and ensure consistent application of audit methodologies.
- Communicate audit findings and control weaknesses to client management, offering constructive recommendations to improve internal financial processes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex accounting issues, ensuring that all financial reporting remains robust and audit-ready.
Required Skillset:
- Possess a deep technical understanding of IFRS, GAAP, and local accounting standards, with the ability to apply these frameworks to complex business scenarios.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, specifically in identifying financial risks and implementing effective audit procedures.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust with client leadership and articulate technical findings clearly.
- Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
- Maintain 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in statutory audit, showcasing a track record of managing multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Adapt seamlessly to a flexible work environment, maintaining high productivity and collaborative standards across distributed or hybrid teams.
