
Your Job Responsibilities Will Include:
- Planning and scheduling statutory audit assignments
- Independently finalizing statutory audit assignments (including group reporting)
- Leading and motivating the team to ensure high-quality delivery
- Conducting trainings within the team
- Acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the client
- Learning and applying the firm's methodology
- Communicating with clients and their overseas counterparts, wherever required
- Coordinating with the firm's cross-service teams for various assignments
- Taking ownership of client-related matters such as CSS, billing, recovery, etc.
- Possessing working knowledge of internal audits
- Being flexible to work on non-standard assurance engagements
- Willingness to travel across various client locations
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of business processes, accounting, reporting, and audit methodology
- Excellent understanding of accounting standards and Standards on Auditing (SAs) under Indian GAAP
- Awareness of reporting requirements under IFRS and other GAAPs, as may be required for group reporting of various entities
- Solid technical knowledge of Accounting Standards (AS), Standards on Auditing (SAs), etc., necessary for assignment execution
- Awareness of direct and indirect taxes as well as corporate laws
- Proven experience in team management and client handling
- Exposure to ERP environments (Tally, SAP, JDE, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
