Experience (Mandatory Requirement): CA with 3-5 years' post-qualification (minimum 3)
Role Overview:
Lead statutory audit engagements end-to-end-from planning to finalization (including group reporting)-while coaching a high-performing team and serving as the single point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule statutory audit assignments; allocate and supervise fieldwork.
- Independently finalize audits, including consolidation/group reporting deliverables.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- Conduct internal trainings and drive adoption of firm methodology.
- Act as SPOC for clients; manage communications with clients and overseas counterparts.
- Coordinate with cross-service teams for multi-disciplinary engagements.
- Own account hygiene: client service, billing, and collections/recoveries.
- Apply working knowledge of internal audits and support non-standard assurance engagements.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years' post-qualification experience in statutory audit.
- Strong understanding of business processes, accounting, reporting, and audit methodology.
- Excellent knowledge of Indian GAAP, Accounting Standards, and Standards on Auditing (SAs).
- Awareness of IFRS/other GAAPs for group reporting.
- Working knowledge of direct and indirect taxes and corporate laws.
- Proven team leadership and client management skills.
- ERP exposure (e.g., Tally, SAP, JDE).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
