Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager for our Statutory Audit team in Kolkata. The ideal candidate must have a strong track record in statutory audits with mandatory exposure to clients in the manufacturing sector (Experience must be primarily with Indian clients in the manufacturing sector)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage statutory audit engagements, focusing on clients in the manufacturing domain

- Plan, execute, and finalize audits in accordance with Indian auditing standards and regulations

- Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance

- Supervise, mentor, and guide junior team members throughout the audit process

- Communicate effectively with clients to resolve audit-related matters

- Ensure timely completion of engagements while maintaining high quality standards

Key Competencies:

- Strong technical understanding of Indian GAAP, Companies Act, and Auditing Standards

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Proven ability to manage teams and client relationships

- Willingness to travel frequently for client assignments
