Description:

The Assistant Manager - OEM Account will be responsible for managing strategic relationships with leading automotive OEMs such as Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India, and Kia India. The role entails driving revenue growth, managing end-to-end RFQ processes, supporting new program launches, and ensuring superior customer satisfaction through effective cross-functional coordination.

OEM Account Management:

- Manage and nurture strategic relationships with key automotive OEMs including Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India, and Kia India

- Develop long-term engagement strategies to enhance customer retention and share of business

Business Development & RFQ Management:

- Identify new business opportunities across existing and prospective OEM accounts

- Lead end-to-end RFQ/RFI processes including feasibility assessment, costing coordination, and proposal submission

Program & Launch Management:

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain) for new product development

Commercial & Contract Management:

- Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, payment terms, and long-term agreements

- Monitor account profitability, margins, and cost structures

Customer Satisfaction & Issue Resolution:

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and service delivery

- Address and resolve customer concerns related to quality, delivery, and performance

- Manage escalations effectively in collaboration with internal stakeholders

Market Intelligence & Strategy:

- Track industry trends such as EV adoption, localization, and regulatory developments

- Analyze competitor strategies and benchmark pricing and offerings

- Provide inputs for strategic planning and business expansion

Internal Coordination & Reporting:

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements

- Prepare and present regular business reviews, sales forecasts, and MIS reports

- Maintain accurate documentation of RFQs, contracts, and customer interactions
