About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and results-oriented Assistant Manager - Sales to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing client relationships, supporting business development efforts, and achieving sales targets through effective execution of sales strategies and market initiatives.

This role demands a professional who can combine strong sales acumen with relationship management skills to convert leads into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development:

- Identify, develop, and maintain new business opportunities within assigned territories or market segments.

- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective pipeline management.

- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, channel partners, and key stakeholders.

- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential customers.

Client Relationship Management:

- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention through timely follow-ups and service delivery.

- Address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

- Maintain a regular communication cadence with key clients and internal teams to ensure alignment.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

- Manage and track sales performance using CRM tools and internal dashboards.

- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analysis for management review.

- Support the Sales Manager in developing and implementing strategic sales plans.

- Collaborate with marketing teams for campaigns, lead generation, and promotional activities.

Team & Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance, and customer service) to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.

- Mentor and support junior sales executives in achieving their goals.

- Participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and training programs to enhance selling skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).

- 3-7 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.

- Strong understanding of sales processes, negotiation techniques, and closing strategies.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce / Zoho / HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and competitor landscape.

- Proven ability to develop and sustain long-term client relationships.

- Exposure to digital sales, social media marketing, or channel development
