Job Summary:
- The Assistant Manager - Sales supports the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and expanding the customer base.
- This role involves managing day-to-day sales activities, building client relationships, assisting in strategic planning, and leading a sales team to meet organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sales Manager in planning and executing sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Support in managing and motivating the sales team to ensure high performance and productivity.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to maximize customer retention and satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with promotional activities and product launches.
- Handle client queries, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals effectively.
- Conduct training and development sessions for the sales team, if required.
- Monitor competitor activity and market conditions to identify challenges and opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's / master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office tools
