
Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance
Responsibilities:
- Monitor processes and outputs to ensure they meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct audits (internal & external) to check compliance with SOPs, ISO, or industry-specific standards.
- Maintain and update quality documentation and manuals.
- Identify gaps or deviations in quality processes and suggest corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements for higher efficiency and quality.
- Supervise QA staff, assign tasks, and monitor daily activities.
- Train employees on quality procedures, tools, and compliance requirements.
- Collect and analyze quality-related data to identify trends and recurring issues.
- Prepare reports for management highlighting quality performance, defects, and improvement measures.
- Handle customer complaints related to product/service quality and coordinate root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with vendors/suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality expectations.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspection results, audits, and corrective actions.
- Maintain traceability and records for compliance audits.
- Identify potential risks in the production or service process.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental guidelines are followed in QA activities.
Skills & Competencies:
- O to C process management
- P to P process management
- R to R process management
- Team leadership experience, managing a team of 45 people
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, SOPs, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in conducting internal and external audits
- Ability to identify process gaps and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
- Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Training and mentoring team members on quality processes and tools
