We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Assistant Manager Online Cataloguing Operations to join our growing E-commerce team for a multinational retail fashion brand.

This role is critical in managing and optimizing the product catalog across various online marketplaces to ensure a seamless and enriched shopping experience for customers.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product listings, including content quality, catalog accuracy, categorization, and SEO optimization, while ensuring that every product reflects the brands standards and voice.


Key Responsibilities


Catalog Management:

- Manage end-to-end catalog operations across marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, and others.

- Ensure timely onboarding of new SKUs and removal of discontinued or out-of-stock products.

- Maintain catalog hygiene, including mapping issues, duplicate listings, broken links, and incorrect categorization.

- Coordinate with internal teams (merchandising, buying, inventory) to ensure accurate catalog planning.


Product Content Creation & Standardization

- Oversee product title creation, bullet points, descriptions, key highlights, and size/fit information.

- Ensure content adheres to brand tone and complies with each marketplaces formatting guidelines.

- Manage and coordinate product photography, image editing, and uploading based on marketplace standards.


Data Accuracy & Integrity

- Maintain product information accuracy, including pricing, GST, HSN codes, size charts, availability, barcodes, and brand mapping.

- Perform regular audits and quality checks to prevent errors across the live catalog.

- Troubleshoot listing errors, suppressed ASINs/SKUs, or content rejections and coordinate resolutions with marketplace teams.


SEO Optimization & Discoverability

- Implement keyword-rich titles, descriptions, and backend meta-data to improve product visibility and organic search rankings.

- Collaborate with performance marketing or digital teams to improve CTR and conversions through enhanced listings (A+ Content, Brand Store optimization, etc.


Platform & Backend Tools Proficiency

- Hands-on experience with backend cataloguing portals such as Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Myntra Partner Portal, Ajio Vendor Portal, etc.

- Manage bulk upload sheets (Excel/CSV), templates, and feed management for listing automation.

- Troubleshoot API feed-related or technical issues with platform support and tech teams.


Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with product, supply chain, warehouse, marketing, and tech teams to align product readiness and go-live timelines.

- Communicate with marketplace account managers for smooth execution of merchandising and campaign plans.


Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in catalog management or e-commerce operations, preferably in fashion/apparel or consumer retail categories.

- Strong command of Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and familiarity with catalog templates and backend systems.

- Working knowledge of marketplace guidelines, taxonomy, and content policies.

- Experience handling large product assortments (SKUs in 1000s).

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes under tight timelines.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally
