Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage statutory audit engagements from planning to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to auditing standards (Ind AS, IFRS, US GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Review audit work papers, financial statements, and disclosures prepared by junior team members, providing constructive feedback to maintain high-quality deliverables and technical accuracy.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and effectively communicating complex accounting matters, audit findings, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Mentor and develop a team of audit professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and contributing to their professional growth and technical expertise through guidance and performance feedback.
- Identify and assess financial risks, develop appropriate audit strategies, and implement efficient audit procedures to deliver value-added insights to clients and mitigate potential issues.
- Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities for additional services and supporting proposals for new engagements, expanding the firm's client base.
- Ensure strict adherence to firm methodologies, quality control procedures, and ethical standards throughout all audit engagements.
Required Skillset:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is essential, coupled with a solid academic record and a commitment to continuous professional development.
