About the Firm:

Role Overview:

We are seeking highly skilled audit professionals at the Assistant Manager / Manager level to lead statutory audit engagements under Ind AS for clients in the alternative investment and asset management sectors. You will play a critical role in managing end-to-end audits, liaising with senior stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance while driving team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage statutory audits for AIFs, hedge funds, private equity funds, and asset management companies.

- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, SEBI AIF regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.

- Review financial statements and audit deliverables for accuracy and completeness.

- Act as the primary point of contact for client engagement teams, fund administrators, and senior management.

- Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audits within deadlines and budget.

- Manage, mentor, and review the work of junior audit staff.

- Stay updated on industry trends, Ind AS updates, and regulatory developments impacting alternative investments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- CA / CPA (or equivalent qualification) with 5-9 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audits.

- Strong understanding of Ind AS and its application to investment management entities.

- Proven experience auditing Alternate Investment Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, or Asset Management companies.

- Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines simultaneously.

- Proficiency in audit tools, MS Excel, and related technologies.

Preferred:

- Prior experience with a Big 4 / Big 10 or top-tier audit firm.

- Familiarity with IFRS or reporting.
