AM/Manager/ Sr. Manager - Business Finance

Role Objective:

To provide financial leadership, analysis, and strategic support to business units and senior management to ensure sustainable and profitable growth. This role bridges financial operations with business strategy, focusing on performance tracking, cost optimization, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business leaders to provide financial insight and support on strategic decisions.

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for assigned business units.

- Monitor key financial and operational metrics (RASK, CASK, yield, load factor, etc.).

- Conduct variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and provide actionable insights.

- Build and maintain financial models for scenario planning, route profitability, and investment evaluation.

- Support pricing strategy and revenue management decisions from a financial perspective.

- Work closely with commercial, operations, network planning, and procurement teams.

- Prepare business cases for new routes, fleet decisions, and CAPEX investments.

- Ensure timely and accurate MIS reporting to the leadership team.

- Drive cost efficiency initiatives across departments.

- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Key Requirements:

Education: MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification

Experience:

- 5 to 8 years in business finance, FP&A, or corporate finance (aviation industry experience preferred)

- Strong analytical and modeling skills (Excel, Power BI, or Tableau preferred)

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Understanding of airline industry metrics and cost structures is a strong advantage
