- We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Freight Forwarding sales efforts.
- The ideal candidate will take ownership of freight negotiations, pricing coordination with shipping lines, client relationship management, and strategic business development.
- This role requires strong leadership, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and pricing negotiations with shipping lines to secure competitive and profitable freight rates
- Manage freight negotiations and oversee the issuance of Cargo Receipt Orders (CRO)
- Ensure timely follow-up and collection of payments from clients
- Drive new client acquisition and expand business opportunities within the freight forwarding domain
- Coordinate with exporters, Customs House Agents (CHA), and freight forwarders to ensure smooth booking and shipment processes
- Maintain high service quality standards through proactive client engagement and follow-ups
- Prepare detailed sales activity reports and track performance metrics to meet business targets
- Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for business growth and revenue enhancement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in freight forwarding sales or logistics sales with proven success in managing large accounts
- Strong negotiation and pricing coordination skills with shipping lines
- Exceptional client relationship management and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including exporters, CHAs, and freight forwarders
- Proficiency in sales reporting, performance analysis, and strategic planning
