Assistant Manager/Manager - Operations Job Description: This is a full-time position. While the position is fundamentally focused on Operations, the selected candidate will also temporarily handle responsibilities related to Partnerships and Communications for approximately 12 months. After this period, the role will transition to a purely Operations-focused position. This hybrid role provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to external communication, partner engagement, and organizational branding while driving core operations. Job Description and Responsibilities: Partnerships & Communications (Temporary - ~60% of the role initially): - Coordinate with partners, donors, and collaborators for timely updates, reporting, and relationship management. - Maintain trackers, support MoU/proposal drafting, and assist in exploring new partnership opportunities. - Plan logistics for donor meetings, field visits, and partner engagements. - Develop newsletters, reports, case studies, and social media content to enhance visibility. - Source updates from internal teams to create cohesive partner communications. - Support events, campaigns, and webinars to strengthen the organization's outreach Operations (Ongoing - ~40% initially, full-time post transition): App Management & Technology Leadership: - Drive adoption and usage of the organization's educational app across project locations. - Collaborate with project teams to enhance delivery using app features. - Troubleshoot and coordinate with the tech team for updates and improvements. Operational Excellence: - Manage online and offline events, including learning competitions. - Develop SOPs and track app engagement metrics to meet performance goals. Academic & Team Support: - Provide guidance to State Heads and Project Coordinators on aligning fieldwork with academic objectives. - Support teacher training and community initiatives with operational inputs. Stakeholder Coordination & Field Support: - Engage with district/block officials for app rollout and training. - Conduct on-ground workshops, training, and monitoring visits as required. Key Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Technology, Communications, or a related field - 6-8 years of experience in project operations, preferably in education or the social sector. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in external communications or stakeholder engagement. - Familiarity with ed-tech tools, mobile apps, or digital platforms in educational contexts. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. - Willingness to travel to field locations as required. Desirable Attributes: - Experience with stakeholder communication, donor reporting, and branding - Familiarity with teacher training, capacity-building initiatives, and community engagement. - Experience in preparing SOPs and monitoring frameworks. - Ability to drive engagement and motivate teams across multiple locations.
