Assistant Manager / Manager Master Data Management (MDM) - SAP MM
Role Overview:
We are hiring experienced Master Data Management (MDM) professionals with strong SAP MM expertise for Assistant Manager and Manager-level positions. The role will focus on Material Master Management, BOM creation, data accuracy, governance, and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) processes with a focus on SAP MM.
- Create, maintain, and govern Material Master data in SAP.
- Handle BOM (Bill of Materials) creation, maintenance, and validation.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity of master data.
- Follow defined data governance standards, policies, and approval workflows.
- Coordinate with business, procurement, supply chain, engineering, and other stakeholders for master-data requirements.
- Identify and resolve master-data issues, discrepancies, and process gaps.
- Support data cleansing, validation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to established SAP processes, controls, and documentation standards.
- Contribute to process optimization and automation initiatives within MDM operations.
Required Skills:
- Strong relevant experience in Master Data Management (MDM).
- Hands-on expertise in SAP MM.
- Strong experience in Material Master creation and maintenance.
- Good experience in BOM Creation and Management.
- Strong understanding of master-data governance and data-quality processes.
- Good stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage MDM processes independently in a process-driven environment.
