Designation: Assistant Manager / Manager - Licensing

Requirements:
- MBA in Marketing & Sales with 3-5 years of related experience
- Passion for retail and products
- Excellent communicator, both verbal & written
- Strategic and analytical thinker - the ability to think of the licensing business holistically and through the financial, marketing, creative, retail and fan lens
- Ability to market and sell brands
- Initiative and highly motivated - has an entrepreneurial spirit and proven track record of achieving/surpassing goals and revenue targets
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and time management skills
- Entrepreneurial, passionate, ambitious and hunger for growing the business

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage our portfolio of diverse and various Japanese brands like Doraemon, Pokmon, One Piece, Sonic and Charlie Chaplin throughout India.
- Maintain existing licensee, licensor, and retail relationships
- Pitch, negotiate, and finalize licensing contracts with existing partners or new accounts to achieve annual financial goals. Agreement
- Support negotiation of new license agreements. (Including renewal, extension, and amendments)
- Recommend and implement consistent licensing, marketing, and retail strategies for multiple of our brands in different categories
- Own P&L and revenue targets for assigned brands
- Maintain and update revenue forecasts
- Direct licensees on royalty statements, budgeting, and projections
- Collaborate with licensees, licensors, and product development team to release products that are on-brand and meet consumer and retail demands
- Own licensee and retail relationships
- Assist in business presentations, including pitch materials, business performance updates and plans, and the organization of international licensing market fairs
- Research and understand the competitive landscape. Analyse and understand market trends, consumer trends, retailers, and industry needs.
- Ensures good communication between licensees and internal services to ensure payments, regular reporting, setting up contracts, etc.
- Regularly evaluates licensee performance to ensure maximization of license development and revenue.
- Participates in the construction of short/medium-term objectives by identifying new business opportunities.
- Provided data and analysis to create reports for internal and external use
- Perform other duties as assigned.
