Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager - Financial Reporting to join our client team in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial reporting processes, particularly within the Oracle Flexcube environment. You will collaborate closely with the finance team, banking operations, and internal audit to maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability of our financial statements and support informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end financial reporting process within Oracle Flexcube, ensuring accurate and timely generation of financial statements.

- Prepare and analyze financial reports in accordance with IFRS and GAAP, providing insightful commentary on variances and trends for management review.

- Oversee the reconciliation of general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers within Oracle Flexcube, resolving discrepancies and ensuring data integrity.

- Develop and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting processes, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Collaborate with banking operations to understand and account for complex financial transactions within Oracle Flexcube.

- Support the implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and minimizing disruption to financial reporting.

- Contribute to the cost accounting function, providing accurate and timely cost information for decision-making.

- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to manage financial reporting processes within an Oracle Flexcube environment.

- Proven expertise in applying IFRS and GAAP accounting principles.

- Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience in banking operations and financial control.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 3-10 years of relevant experience.

Educational Background:

- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent - a must

- Banking knowledge is a must
