Assistant Manager/Manager - Finance - Bank/NBFC - CA

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team who will be responsible for supporting the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue assurance activities of the company. The role involves close coordination with operations, tech and accounting teams to ensure accuracy of financial data, system reconciliations, and timely management reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate insights effectively to management.

Key responsibilities:

- Ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue recognition across system. Coordinate with Tech & Operations teams to fix root causes in case of any discrepancies.

- Assist in reconciliation between systems, banks, and Oracle. Track and resolve open reconciliation items in coordination with relevant teams.

- Support preparation of annual budgets and half yearly forecasts for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows. Support scenario analysis and sensitivity modelling for management decisions.

- Develop and present monthly MIS reports to management at the start of each month, highlighting key financial metrics including revenue trends, margins and operating costs.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data requirements and provide necessary support, fostering cross-departmental communication.

- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy within the finance team.

Desired Profile:

- CA with 2-5 years of relevant experience or MBA with 2-4 years of experience.

- Should have worked with Banks / NBFCs (Retail Finance Lending) and strong understanding of business and industry.

- Proven experience in FP&A, revenue assurance, reporting, and reconciliation.

- Extremely good at numbers & Analytical Mindset.

- Microsoft office skills (especially in MS Excel & MS PowerPoint).
