Key Responsibilities:

Direct Taxation:

- Manage direct tax compliance, including preparation and filing of corporate income tax returns.

- Handle tax audits, assessments, and appeals.

- Assist in tax planning, forecasting, and advisory for business units.

- Ensure accurate computation of tax provisions and deferred taxes.

- Liaise with statutory authorities and external consultants.

Indirect Taxation:

- Oversee GST compliance, including return filings and reconciliations.

- Handle GST audits, departmental queries, and assessments.

- Provide guidance on indirect tax implications for business transactions.

- Ensure up-to-date compliance with GST laws, notifications, and amendments.

- Assist in process improvements and automation of indirect tax activities.

General Responsibilities:

- Ensure adherence to regulatory timelines and company standards.

- Support internal and external audits related to taxation.

- Prepare MIS reports and provide insights for management decision-making.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for tax-related matters.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4+ years of post-qualification experience.

- Experience in Direct Taxation, Indirect Taxation, or both (as applicable).

- Strong understanding of Income Tax Act, GST laws, and related regulations.
