Job Title: Domestic - Business Strategy Designation: Assistant Manager /Manager Department | Location: Strategy & Research | Job Profile: Media professional with relevant experience in developing, driving, and implementing business strategy initiatives for television channels across diverse genres like Hindi GEC, Regional GEC, Hindi & English News, English GEC, Hindi Movie and Sports, both from broadcasting and distribution perspective that will enable the company to increase its channel reach & profitability. Key Responsibilities/Duties: - To Develop successful market penetration strategies based on in-depth analysis of subscriber data basis demographic and ethnic diversities across various geographies. - To identify gaps in content offering and discover new segments through intensive market mapping and competitive analysis. - Transform data into actionable insights that help formulate the cross-functional business strategy including Affiliate sales, Marketing and Programming. - To Lead market mapping and landscape analysis with an eye to gain critical market information for domestic distribution business. - Monitor all competitive activity and report on the market intelligence for internal decision making on a daily/ weekly/monthly basis. - Analyze industry's offerings / packaging construct, subscriber mix, channel & bouquet trends and recommend appropriate strategies for new tariff regime. - To churn out qualitative and quantitative research, concept testing, analyses of historical viewership data, effective content strategy and ratings potential to recommend gaps in channel availability. - To collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders for research. - Responsible for all management report creation, analyzing and writing analytical overviews on content genre offered by the company.
